In today's digital age, where competition is constantly expanding, successfully running a Google Search campaign has become…
While the race for the fastest possible development of services based on artificial intelligence continues, companies are trying to take their positions in the market. After explosive occurrences Chat GPT- and at first glance the ungrateful position in which Google found itself, this giant still tries to offer an adequate answer.
Google Bard expansion to Europe
google bard is perhaps their most important project this year, and this service is now available in Europe as well.
Problems with EU laws
For some time, it became a problem with the launch of Bard in Europe due to non-compliance with European Union laws, which concerned the protection of data privacy. The EU Commission has stated that the information Google presented about the privacy protection of EU citizens in its new generative AI tool is inadequate. The EU proactively regulates artificial intelligence systems, prioritizing security, transparency and non-discrimination.
The first regulatory framework for AI proposed by the EU, known as the AI Law, is on track to become the world's first comprehensive AI law. This proposed law categorizes artificial intelligence systems based on their risk to users and assigns levels of regulation accordingly.
While Bard was originally open to early access with an English version starting in the US and UK back in March, the initial waiting list ended in May with a global rollout in around 180 countries and additional support for Japanese and Korean languages. A notable omission until recently was the EU, with Google delaying its launch in Europe just after the privacy regulator raised concerns.
Google Bard in Europe
Finally Google expanded the availability of Bard to new areas like Europe and Brazil.
Before launching in these new regions and languages, Google consulted with experts, policymakers, and privacy watchdogs to ensure it takes a responsible approach to artificial intelligence.
As Bard's global presence grew, Google sought to remain committed to its AI principles, but also to monitor user input and maintain strong protections for user privacy and data.
Bard is now available in over forty languages, including major world languages such as Arabic, Chinese, German, Hindi and Spanish.
New functions for greater productivity
Along with expanding availability, new features focused on fine-tuning Bard's responses and boosting the chatbot's potential for productivity have been introduced. Google has introduced new features to Bard to make its answers more useful for people's needs.
Audio answers: (Audible Responses) Hear the Bard's responses read aloud instead of reading the text. Available in over 40 languages.
Customizing Answers: (Response Customization) Adjust the tone and style of Bard's responses to be simple, long, short, professional, or casual. Available in English.
Google also launched four new features in Bard to improve productivity:
Pin and rename conversations: (Pin and Rename Conversations) You can now pin and rename conversations with Bard, allowing easy retrieval of previous queries.
Advanced code export options: (Expanded Code Export Options) Python code can now be exported to Replit and Google Colab.
Answer sharing: (response sharing) Bard chats can now be shared via share links to promote collaboration.
Image instructions: (Image Prompts) Bard uses Google Lens to analyze images uploaded using queries.
