We recently wrote about that updating Facebook Creator Studio has brought a very important feature to Instagram users - Scheduling posts on Instagram and IGTV videos is the most important novelty, but that option has not yet been available globally.
Recently, this option is also available for users in Serbia, which is great news for all those who have been scheduling posts for a long time with the help of various tools, such as Hootsuite, Buffer, Later and similar platforms.
Scheduling posts on Instagram
As you can see, it is possible to schedule posts on Instagram feed-ui on IGTV. What is missing is scheduling Instagram stories.
Instagram story has over time become a very powerful Instagram posting option, providing businesses and influencers with a variety of opportunities to interact with followers. For that reason, the introduction of the story scheduling option is something that Facebook could think about in the coming period.
As a default option, scheduling posts on the instagram feed offers the ability to add location, tag profiles, change visual formats (square, landsape and vertical), as well as the ability to post to Facebook (the option can be checked). The desired visual can be uploaded from a computer or selected from a Facebook page. In advanced settings, leaving comments and tagging a business partner can be turned off.
Similar to when scheduling on Instagram feed, scheduling posts on IGTV contains the title and description of the video, the ability to post a thumbnail photo, optional check-in for posting on the Instagram feed and Facebook page. It is possible to upload video from your computer or select a video from your Facebook page.
Instagram content management is within the Content Library Tab, where there is an overview of all posts, and scheduled posts can be viewed and modified under the post status option, where scheduled is selected.
With each new update, like this one, Facebook improves its capabilities to increase the amount of content published and allow users of its platforms to optimize content as much as possible.
