Instagram continues to improve the user experience within the app and make it easier for users to manage content. In the backend of the app they started working on this even earlier, which we recently wrote about

Now, Instagram has launched a live test of scheduling posts within the app, with a limited group of users, for now.

Scheduling posts within the application

As can be seen in the photo below, the option to schedule posts in the Instagram app will be added under the advanced options when creating posts, with a new option that will allow setting the date and time for the post. Obviously, this will allow you to schedule standard posts, but also Reels announcement. There is no information about scheduling Story posts.

This could be a very useful novelty in the application, providing the ability to easily manage Instagram posts on the go. Technically, this is not a special novelty because the scheduling of posts was previously enabled via Creator Studio as of 2020, but the user experience is definitely better when the option is within the app.

In addition, the posting plan can be adjusted at any time within the application, while the creation of posts is possible with the help of all Instagram tools and creation options, which is also a great advantage.

Instagram says that they are currently testing the possibility of scheduling content with only a certain percentage of users.

Check, you may have access to this option right now within the Instagram app. If you don't have one, it could be coming soon, and initial testing will likely have a good response in the app.
